I Wonder

I wonder when I wake up

How tomorrow will be

Busy and fruitful

Or a write off for me

Will the pain be too much?

An absolute ten!

Or will i be ready

To take the world on again

The good days are now

So few inbetween

This disease is just brutal

So spiteful and mean

I long for the days

When the pain was a nil

And I could get through them

Without so many pills

And I long for those days

I could walk a straight line

Where nobody thought

I'd been hitting the wine!

The downhills been fast

These last few years

But I will not give up

Or into the fears

I will pick myself up

And continue to try

To face my tomorrow's

Without asking why

And I'll try not to wonder

How tomorrow will be

It will be busy and fruitful

Or restful, I'll see!
