I never set out to do this!

I never set out to do what I do now. I use to be physically active but now it's more mentally active.
The plan was internal design and build. Kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms. Phoenix Installations. A solid trade, a clear path. Keep your head down and crack on.
Life had other ideas.
Somewhere between diagnosis, dark days and learning how to cope with mental health I started writing. Not to be a writer but because I needed somewhere to put what I was carrying. Hours became poems. Poems became books and without meaning to, I built an online space by being honest in ways I’d avoided my whole life.
I did terrible at school. Seriously, my grades matched that statement. Writing definitely wasn't for me. I didn’t really find my words until my 30s or maybe they were always there just waiting for the right moment.
Multiple Sclerosis and mental health struggles have taken a lot from me but they’ve also stripped life back and put me exactly where I’m meant to be.
